Andy Fosterjohn

Andy Fosterjohn has been working in the career guidance and counselling field since 1985. Andy began their career as an Outreach Careers Adviser (NEETS / Adult) for Local Authority Careers Services in Derbyshire and Black Country UK. In 1992, they took on the role of Course Leader for the Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance and Counselling at the University of South Wales. In 2010, they became a Project Manager for Self. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Owner of Andy Fosterjohn Careers Works. In 2020, they joined FutureFit AI as a Career Coach and Partnerships Lead and also took on the role of Project Manager and Career Coach Consultant.

Andy Fosterjohn's educational history includes the following: they obtained a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Central Lancashire in 1977-1981, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance from London South Bank University in 1984-1985. Andy also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching (PCET) from Coleg y Cymoedd, Pontypridd, Wales, UK in 2007-2009, and an OCN Level 2 in Community Learning Rep. from the Workers Educational Association (WEA) Wales in 2007-2008. Andy Fosterjohn also attended Arnold High School, Nottingham UK from 1969-1976, and obtained a PgD Careers Guidance certification.
