Samuel G. Rodriques

Samuel G. Rodriques currently serves as the Director and CEO of FutureHouse, focusing on the development of an AI Scientist since November 2023. Prior to this role, Samuel has been a Group Leader at The Francis Crick Institute since January 2021, managing the Applied Biotechnology Lab, which is set to close in March 2025. Previous positions include Entrepreneur In Residence at Petri and a Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Samuel pioneered the Focused Research Organization model related to connectomics. Samuel's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from MIT, an MPhil in Engineering and Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Haverford College, supplemented by international academic experience at the University of Cambridge.
