George Seal-Coon

George Seal-Coon is an experienced project manager and trainer with a diverse background in education, risk management, and personal security. Currently serving as the Project Management Team Lead and Senior Project Manager at FutureLearn since 2020, George also founded Defence Aware, focusing on martial arts and personal protection training. Previous roles include leading multi-partner educational projects at Cambridge English, providing risk and security consultancy in East Africa with Control Risks and Schlumberger, and lecturing at the University of Southampton. George holds a BA in French and Russian from the University of Nottingham, completed training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and has pursued ongoing professional development in life coaching at Cambridge University.
