Almas Kenessary

Almas Kenessary is a seasoned professional in the medical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as Managing Partner at FutureMed Ventures KZ since January 2024 and Chief Executive Officer at Biomed Central Asia since September 2022. Previous roles include Head of the Unit for Medical Science at the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Director of the Department for Medical Science at Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University. Almas also provided consulting services at KPJV Limited and conducted research at Nazarbayev University's Center for Life Sciences. Almas holds both a PhD and an MD from Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, obtained between 2003 and 2016.
