David C. Henshall

David C. Henshall is a neuroscientist and pharmacologist, currently serving as the Director at FutureNeuro and a Professor of Molecular Physiology & Neuroscience at the RCSI University of Medicine & Health Sciences. With an educational background that includes a PhD in Pharmacology from The University of Edinburgh and a BS from the University of Bristol, they have focused their research on the causes and treatment of epilepsy. Previously, they led NIH-funded research at Legacy Health and conducted post-doctoral studies at the University of Pittsburgh. Their expertise encompasses pre-clinical pharmacology, neuroinflammation, and the development of innovative therapies. Henshall is also the author of 'Fine-Tuning Life: A guide to microRNAs, your genome's master regulators.'
