Brian Buquir is an accomplished Lead Decisioning Architect with extensive experience in application architecture, solution design, and technical governance, particularly in omni-channel global customer engagement. Currently employed at Futureproof since February 2022, Brian previously held senior management positions at Merkle and Commonwealth Bank, where responsibilities included leading decisioning practices and core product engineering using Pega Decision Management. Additional roles at Deloitte and Accenture involved consulting in Intelligent Automation and cloud-based solutions. Earlier career experience included operations and quality control roles at DSM and internships in operations and quality assurance with Unitech Industries Ltd. and Coca-Cola Amatil. Brian holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Chemical and Materials Engineering from The University of Auckland.
