Julia Matthews

Julia Matthews is an experienced professional with a diverse background in business engagement, education, and property management. Currently serving as an Enterprise Coordinator at East Midlands Combined County Authority since January 2020, Julia facilitates collaboration between business leaders and schools to enhance employability outcomes. As an Independent Business Owner of The Woodpecker Snug since March 2017, Julia oversees the management of a unique accommodation venture. Previous roles include Business Engagement Coordinator at Futures for Business, where Julia focused on improving career opportunities for Alternative Provision students, and a decade-long tenure in various positions at intu, as well as experience as a property developer and trainer. Julia holds a BSc in Textiles from The University of Huddersfield.
