Doug Jones

Doug Jones has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Doug started their career at Optus in 1993, where they worked as a Team Leader in Customer Operations until 1995. Doug then moved on to Nortel Networks as a Field Support Engineer from 1996 to 1997. Following that, they worked at Nokia as a Transmission Support Engineer for a brief period in 1996. Jones then joined Ionica as a Technical Support Engineer from 1997 to 1998. Doug later worked at VarTec Telecom as the European Operations Manager from 1998 to 2005. In 2006, Jones became the European Operations Manager at D2C Telecom Ltd, where they stayed until 2008. Doug then worked at ACN as the Network Operations Manager from 2008 to 2009, before joining Powwownow as a System Support Manager from 2010 to 2011. From 2011 to 2016, Jones served as the Voice Engineering Lead at SIPcom. Currently, they are employed at Fuze as a Product Manager, a position they have held since 2016.

Doug Jones attended Soham Grammar School from 1971 to 1972. Doug then attended the Perse School, Cambridge from 1972 to 1976, but did not earn a degree or have a specific field of study. Later, from 1977 to 1979, they studied at the Cambridge College of Arts and Technology and obtained an OND in Engineering. Finally, from 1990 to 1992, Doug attended Bedford College of Higher Education where they earned an HND in Business and Finance with a field of study in Business/Managerial Economics.
