Peter Lu

Peter Lu has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several years. Peter is currently working as a Senior Business Analyst at 8x8 since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Business Application Analyst at Fuze from March 2019. Peter also worked as a Senior Information Architect at Arbor Networks starting from February 2008 until September 2018.

Before joining Arbor Networks, they served as a Principal Business Application Engineer at NMS Communications from October 2004 to January 2008. In this role, Peter developed various web applications using MS IIS, SharePoint Portal Server, SQL Server, and MS Reporting Server. Peter also created a financial dashboard integrated with the ERP system, providing real-time updates on the company's daily operations.

Peter's career also includes roles at GE Fanuc as an Information Management Infrastructure Architect from March 2002 to October 2004. Here, they focused on CRM development and integration with Siebel and JD Edwards, successfully implementing applications to improve processes and automate tasks.

Furthermore, Peter worked as a Principal Application Engineer at Intellution from February 1995 to March 2002. During this time, they designed and implemented a fully integrated web-based CRM system with multiple language support and integration with Clarify's Clear Support system.

Before their time at Intellution, Peter gained experience at Hanover Insurance as a Database Administrator and Application Developer from May 1992 to February 1995. Peter was responsible for planning, installing, and managing MS SQL Servers, as well as migrating mainframe reporting systems into client/server applications.

Peter began their career as a Service Engineer at MicroAccess Computer Center from October 1990 to June 1992.

Peter Lu completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the South China University of Technology between 1977 and 1981. Peter then pursued further education, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Mathematics from Worcester State University between 1985 and 1987. Continuing their academic journey, Peter went on to earn another Master of Science (MS) degree, this time in Computer Science, from Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 1988 to 1991.
