Joanna Chiu

Joanna Chiu is a finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the insurance and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President of Group Finance at FWD Insurance since October 2023, Joanna previously held positions at Chow Tai Fook as Associate Director in the Transformation Office and at AIA Hong Kong and Macau as Associate Director and PMO Lead for Project Halley, focusing on IFRS17 & 9 implementation. With a strong foundation in business transformation from a long tenure at KPMG China, Joanna has worked with multinational financial institutions on projects related to business process improvement and operating model redesign. Joanna Chiu holds an MBA from HKUST Business School and is currently pursuing another MBA through the International Exchange Programme at London Business School, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
