Tinsae Gebriel holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. Currently serving as a Senior Research & Policy Associate focused on Criminal Justice Reform at FWD.us since August 2022, Tinsae previously held roles including Deputy Director of Racial Equity Initiatives at the National Legal Aid & Defender Association and Deputy Director of Policy at FAMM. Additional experience includes positions as a Policy Research Intern at the DC Fiscal Policy Institute, Research Consultant at Communities In Schools National Office, and Paralegal Specialist Trainee at the U.S. Department of Justice, among others, providing a robust foundation in research and policy analysis within criminal justice initiatives.
