Ashton Dunkel has a diverse work history in the equine industry. From June to July 2017, they worked as a Summer Intern at Texas A&M AgriLife Extension - Equine Office, where they were responsible for creating and managing the "Saddle Up for College" program at the Texas State 4-H Horse Show. They also assisted with the Texas State 4-H Roundup Horse Judging Contest and performed various tasks for the management team at the State 4-H Horse Show.
In September 2017, Ashton Dunkel joined the STOCK HORSE OF TEXAS ASSOCIATION INC as a Show Secretary, and they are currently still in this role.
In May 2019, Ashton Dunkel worked as a Performance Department Intern at the American Paint Horse Association. This internship lasted until August 2019.
In August 2019, they started working as a Graduate Assistant at Texas A&M AgriLife, where they remained until February 2021. During this time, they assisted with various tasks related to their role.
Most recently, Ashton Dunkel joined the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo in March 2021 as a Horse Show Coordinator.
Ashton Dunkel obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Leadership & Development from Texas A&M University, where they attended from 2015 to 2019. Following this, from 2019 to 2021, Ashton pursued a Graduate Degree in Animal Science with a focus on Equine at the same institution.
