Ghislain Cossette

Ghislain Cossette has a strong background in information security and IT management. Ghislain currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at FX Innovation since May 2021. Prior to that, they served as the CISO at Metro Inc. from October 2018 to April 2021.

From 2013 to 2018, Ghislain worked as the Directeur principal Infrastructure at Jean Coutu, where they were responsible for leading infrastructure teams and overseeing IT support for over 90 sites across Canada.

Before that, they held multiple roles at BDC, including Directeur Exploitation IT from 2009 to 2012, where they led various IT teams and was responsible for supporting 2,000 users and evolving IT infrastructures. Ghislain also served as the Program Manager from October 2008 to January 2009, overseeing infrastructure projects.

Prior to their time at BDC, Ghislain worked as a Director at CGI from May 2001 to October 2008, focusing on IT management.

Ghislain began their career as a Sys Admin at Desjardins in 1995, where they worked until 2001.

Throughout their career, Ghislain has gained extensive experience in information security, IT infrastructure, project management, and IT support.
