Matthew Richardson

Matthew Richardson has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Matthew started their career as a Platform Engineer at TD, where they focused on cloud operations and provided level 3 support for PaaS and IaaS. Later, they joined Rogers Communications as a Software Engineer, where they were a member of the cloud operations team and played a role in deploying MS Azure and migrating applications.

Matthew then transitioned to the healthcare sector, working as an Acupuncturist at Dorothy Ley Hospice and the Health Centre of Milton. During this time, they gained experience in providing acupunctural treatments.

Returning to the IT industry, Matthew joined New Signature as a Cloud Architecture Consultant, specializing in cloud technology and providing consultation services for clients. Matthew then shifted to a role at New Signature Canada as an Azure Infrastructure Consultant, focusing on Azure infrastructure.

Most recently, Matthew joined FX Innovation as a Cloud Specialist, where they are currently employed. The specifics of their role and responsibilities in this position have not been provided.

Matthew Richardson completed their education in a chronological order. Matthew first attended Humber College from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Computer Engineering Diploma with a focus on Computer Engineering. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Guelph-Humber, where they studied Computer Engineering but did not obtain a degree. Following this, from 2004 to 2011, they attended the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where they earned an Acupuncture Diploma specializing in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Additionally, Matthew Richardson has obtained various certifications. In 2023, they became a Terraform Associate through HashiCorp. Prior to that, in January 2023, they acquired the Az-500: Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft. Furthermore, in September 2022, they obtained the Az-400: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification, and in August 2022, they obtained the AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certification, both also from Microsoft. Finally, they hold the AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals certification, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
