Pierre Fortin Carrier

Pierre Fortin Carrier has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Pierre currently works at FX Innovation as a Technical Director and Platform Lead for Google Cloud Platform. In this role, they are responsible for onboarding enterprises to the Google Cloud Platform and migrating workloads to the cloud. Prior to this, Pierre worked at Liaison International as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, where they led a team and focused on application modernization and re-platforming. Pierre also has experience as a Senior System Administrator at Openfares Softwares Inc., where they managed a complex multi-tenant enterprise application. Additionally, Pierre worked at Accovia as a System Administrator and at Synopsis Solutions as a System Administrator, where they provided support and handled various IT needs for development efforts.

Pierre Fortin Carrier attended Collège Maisonneuve from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Network and System Administration. In addition to their college education, Pierre has also obtained several certifications from Google Cloud. These include the Google Cloud Certified Cloud Digital Leader certification, obtained in April 2022, the Google Cloud Certified Professional Network Engineer certification, obtained in November 2021, the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification, obtained in March 2021, and the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Devops Engineer certification, also obtained in March 2021.
