Vincent Boisclair

Vincent Boisclair has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vincent started their career as a Software Developer Intern at CML Technologies Inc. in 1997. Vincent then interned at Corel Corporation, where they developed and ported graphical user interfaces for the WordPerfect product using C/C++/MFC.

In 2001, Vincent joined CAE, Ownship Networking, Military Engineering as a Software Developer. Vincent worked on interconnecting simulated environments and systems for multiple military projects. Vincent also developed sensor equipment simulations and worked closely with integration specialists, project engineers, and customers.

From 2011 to 2015, Vincent worked as a Senior Software Developer at CAE Mining - Simulation & Operator Training. During this time, they were responsible for software development in the mining industry, leveraging Azure technologies such as Cloud Services, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database.

Vincent joined Datamine Software in 2011 as a Senior Software Developer, specializing in the SUMMIT Cloud Platform. Vincent developed new features using Azure SDK, SQL, C#, web services, and Silverlight. Vincent's responsibilities also included managing and generating mining technical data.

In 2016, Vincent started working at FX Innovation as a Software Developer on the Azure/DevOps team. Vincent then progressed to become a Team Lead for the Cloud Team, managing a team of Cloud Specialists. Vincent played a crucial role in the first-ever 100% cloud migration of a financial institution.

Vincent's responsibilities further expanded at FX Innovation when they became a Service Product Manager for Cloud/DevOps/Dev in 2018. Vincent focused on technical presales for cloud deals and productizing the FX cloud service offering. Vincent also contributed to the creation of six cloud products and introduced a product approach for scaling the business.

In 2019, Vincent became the Azure Practice Lead, working on the establishment and evolution of the FX service product offering. Vincent acted as the Azure technical presales person and led various initiatives with Microsoft to strengthen the technical relationship between FX and Microsoft.

Currently, Vincent holds the position of Azure Platform Lead at FX Innovation. Vincent is the technical director for the Azure platform, responsible for the industrialization and evolution of the product offering. Vincent also serves as the technical point of contact between the FX Cloud Service Delivery team and Microsoft.

Vincent Boisclair completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their degree, they have obtained two certifications from Microsoft: MCPS (Microsoft Certified Professional) in June 2016 and MS (Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions) in June 2016.
