Julie Piepenkotter started their career as a Media Buyer at Leo Burnett Advertising in 1985. Julie then moved on to Republic Pictures Television Distribution, where they worked as a Senior Research Analyst from October 1988 to March 1989. Julie joined Disney ABC Television Group in March 1989 as a Senior Vice President of Research, and they held this position until June 2009. In 2009, they joined FX Networks as a Senior Vice President of Research, and in May 2013, they were promoted to Executive Vice President of Research. Julie is currently holding this position at FX Networks.
