Michelle L. Mendonça

Michelle L. Mendonça has extensive experience in the finance and business strategy fields. Michelle began their career as a Summer Research Analyst at The 451 Group in 2008. Michelle then worked as a Derivatives Analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey from 2010 to 2012, where they built and executed various derivatives for clients.

Michelle then moved on to EdgeCast Networks in 2013, where they worked in Global Business Development. Michelle exceeded sales goals and expanded the pipeline of Latin American prospects.

In 2014, Michelle joined OpenHouse, Inc. as a Finance Manager and Head of Business Intelligence. Michelle successfully boosted revenue and managed the startup fundraising process.

From 2016 to 2017, Michelle worked at MarVista Entertainment as a Director of Finance - Strategy and New Business Initiatives. Michelle saved the company money by building an improved allocation model and supported strategic initiatives.

In 2018, Michelle took on the role of Senior Finance Manager at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Inc. while completing their MBA. Michelle prepared for fundraising and managed the company's global budget planning.

Most recently, Michelle has been working at FX Networks as the Director of Business Strategy since 2019. In this role, they lead strategic projects and manages the planning processes for the company's television shows. Michelle also assesses new projects and leads the greenlight process.

Michelle L. Mendonça holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, which they completed from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained an M.S. in Commerce with a specialization in Financial Services from the University of Virginia from 2009 to 2010. Michelle'sundergraduate degree is a B.A. in Public Relations and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they earned from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they have a certification in Data Science from General Assembly, obtained in 2015.
