Lane J. Lubell

Lane J. Lubell is an experienced educator currently serving as an 8th Grade Teacher at The Frances Xavier Warde School, specializing in physics and chemistry. Lane has developed and led various learning projects, including a roller coaster engineering initiative and after-school courses in Speech and Creative Writing. In addition to classroom instruction, Lane functions as an 8th Grade Learning Specialist, assisting students with learning differences and collaborating closely with administration on individualized learning plans. As a Debate Coach and co-founder of the Midwest Middle School Debate League, Lane cultivates critical thinking skills in students and organizes tournaments. Previous experiences include video game design instruction at Northwestern University’s Center for Talent Development, student teaching at Northside College Prep, and videography at the Traverse City Film Festival. Lane holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Radio, Television, and Film.
