Hugo Hays

Hugo Hays is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in responsible supply chain management, food safety, and sustainability, currently serving as Global Director of Responsible Supply Chain and Global Director Compliance and Food Safety at Fyffes since September 2013. Prior roles include Team Leader for the Mid-term Evaluation of the EU-funded PIP Quality and Conformity Fruits and Vegetables Programme with COLEACP, and evaluator for the GSCP Environmental and Social standards at The Consumer Goods Forum. Hays has also contributed to various organizations such as the World Trade Organization, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and the Southern African Development Community, focusing on trade-related assistance, SPS management, and capacity building. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Sustainable Development from the University of London and a Positive Leadership Diploma from the University for Peace.
