Life doesn't end at 50 — it transcends.

fyi50+ is a digital lifestyle publication for adults 50+ and their adult children. We exist because the most curious, adventurous, and reinvented people we know are 50 and beyond — and for too long, no one was speaking to them with the energy, respect, and relevance they deserve.

So, we built something different. Not a brand defined by decline, but one that celebrates the encore — and encores, done right, are often the best part of the show.

Founded by journalist and publisher Heidi Frankel, whose career spans CBS News, CBS Radio, and leading a print newspaper for the senior community, fyi50+ launched in 2018 as a print magazine and website. Today, it's a fully digital publication, shaped alongside a nationally recognized editorial and brand strategist.

We cover the things that matter most at this stage of life: wellness, travel, relationships, money, retirement, and the joys of grandparenting — from reading together to cooking side by side. And we explore all those "what's next" moments in between.

Here's what we believe: you don't slow down at 50. You recalibrate. You get clearer on what matters, braver about pursuing it, and more open to what's possible. We're here to meet you every step of the way.
We also speak to your adult children, because the richest chapters of life are navigated together. The best conversations happen across the table, with every voice in the room — and fyi50+ is built for both generations.

If you believe the best chapters, come later, you're in the right place.

Follow fyi50+ to join a community living life on its own terms. Your encore continues here!
