Abhishek Banerjee

Abhishek Banerjee's work experience begins with their roles as a Senior Research Engineer at Fyusion, Inc, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Velodyne Lidar as a Computer Vision Engineer from June 2021 to April 2023. At Velodyne Lidar, they led the development of an inference pipeline for real-time deployment, implemented a LiDAR-based Localization pipeline, and developed multiple calibration pipelines.

Before joining Velodyne Lidar, Abhishek worked at Nokia Bell Labs in 2020, where they held roles as a Computer Vision Engineer from September to December, and as an Applied Machine Learning Intern from June to August.

Prior to their time at Nokia Bell Labs, Abhishek was a Member of Technical Staff at Tonbo Imaging from July 2017 to June 2019. Abhishek also worked as an Assistant Manager at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories from July 2016 to June 2017.

Abhishek's earliest work experience was as a Research Intern at the National University of Singapore from January to June 2016. During this time, they conducted numerical studies for flow dynamics and utilized MATLAB for computations while working on their undergraduate thesis.

Abhishek Banerjee completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Robotics from the University of Maryland from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2012 to 2016.
