Dhananjay Sharma is a highly skilled researcher currently serving as a Scientific Researcher and Postdoc at FZU - Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences since October 2020, focusing on synthetic diamond via MWCVD. Prior to this role, Dhananjay held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidade Coimbra, investigating sputtering parameters affecting hard coatings and studying the mechanical characterization of thin films, as well as material oxidation and corrosion. Experience also includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at CICECO - Aveiro Institute of Materials, concentrating on diamond coating growth, and a Post Doctoral Fellow position at TEMA - Centre for Mechanical Technology and Automation, specializing in the development of 2D materials like graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides for device applications. Dhananjay began an academic career with a PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the University of Aveiro and a Master’s in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from A N College, Patna.
