Thorsten Kohlisch

Thorsten Kohlisch is an experienced professional in European policy and project management, currently serving as Lead Manager of the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform at G.A.C. Group since March 2018. With a robust background in regional development, EU cohesion policy, and interregional cooperation, Thorsten has also performed as a guest lecturer at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and the University of Tartu. In addition to academic roles, Thorsten has contributed to major sporting events, including as Sports Presentation Manager for the Special Olympics World Games 2023 and Stage Manager for the European Championships 2022. Prior work experiences include leadership positions in various Interreg programs and public sector management in Berlin. Thorsten holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Potsdam and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from The Berlin School of Economics and Law.
