Mauricio Zavala Bayer

Mauricio Zavala Bayer has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Mauricio spent the most recent part of their career at Liberty Latin America, where they held various roles, including Director of Customer Care Innovation and Technology. Prior to that, they worked at Cable & Wireless Panama for over a decade, serving as the IT Architecture & Business Intelligence VP and later as the IT Vice President for Mobile. Mauricio played a crucial role in managing technology services, overseeing innovation and growth, and implementing solutions for different lines of business. Mauricio also worked at Microsoft as a Solution Specialist, where they designed solutions for customers across Central America. Additionally, they gained experience at GBM Corporation, developing business intelligence solutions, and at IBM Global Services, where they held various roles related to business intelligence.

Mauricio Zavala Bayer has a diverse educational background. In 1986, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Later, in 2009, they pursued a MD degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Business School ADEN Panam, which they completed in 2012. In 2020, they briefly attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on Machine Learning. Mauricio Zavala Bayer also holds additional certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data from edX in 2020 and a SAP Business Warehouse - HANA certification from SAP obtained in 2011.
