Samuel Maz

Samuel Maz has a diverse range of work experience in the field of project management. Samuel currently serves as the Director of IT PMO at Liberty Latin America, where they are responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT projects across multiple regions. Prior to this, Samuel worked as the Head of IT PMO at Colsubsidio, where they managed the IT portfolio and implemented project management practices. Samuel also worked as a Program Director at Qvantel and Ericsson, leading digital transformation projects and managing customer relationships. Additionally, Samuel has experience teaching project management courses at various universities, including Universidad ESAN and Universidad Externado de Colombia. Samuel also has a background in business relationship management and project management at Global Hitss. Earlier in their career, Samuel served as a Sub-Director of Implementations at Compufacil S.A., where they implemented project management processes and improved customer satisfaction. Overall, Samuel has a strong background in project management, with a focus on digital transformation, customer relationship management, and portfolio management.

Samuel Maz completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Externado de Colombia from 2012 to 2016. In 2018, they attended Esade for a course in International Business. Prior to that, in 2005-2006, they obtained a Project Manager degree in Project Management from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Samuel also holds additional certifications such as the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate and Digital Transformation from CertiProf and LinkedIn respectively. Samuel is also certified in ITIL Foundations V3.
