Marko Stokov is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in vessel operations and marine advisory roles. Currently serving as a Marine Advisor at G.M.S. Global Maritime Services Ltd since May 2022, Marko previously worked at Höegh LNG from December 2014 to December 2021, where roles included Vessel Operation Manager, Vessel Operation Assistant, Chief Officer, and Deck Officer. Marko began a maritime career at Pronav Schiffahrtskontor GmbH as a Deck Officer from March 2011 to February 2014. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Nautical from Nautical College Zadar (2007-2011) and a High School Diploma in Nautical from Nautical School Zadar (2002-2006).

Founded in 2008, Global Maritime Services Limited (GMS) is a service provider for the LNG / FSRU industry; in particular, the Regas, Voyage Optimization, and Safety HSEQ aspects of the global maritime transport industry. The team is proficient in setting up highly-advanced FSRU import terminals, worldwide navigation, shipbuilding, and testing new maritime equipment. Additionally, they can readily conduct sea trials and commission advanced LNG/FSRU vessels. GMS can facilitate connections with key players for testing and validation due to decades of maritime domain expertise and access to a vast shipping network of end-users. Their veteran Captains/Master Mariners can also assist with the testing process and end-user feedback. In addition, the team can significantly contribute to all aspects of LNG /FSRU and Navigation/Maritime Projects. Furthermore, the team has augmented reality (AR) technology to use for educational and training purposes in the maritime domain. Previously, GMS has been the coordinator of a European Commission (EC) project and has taken part in seven (7) large maritime projects. GMS also provides administrative support for intellectual property rights (IPR) and other administrative tasks related to coordination and R&D projects.
