Hanyue Zhao

Hanyue Zhao is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and piping engineering, particularly in the resource sector. Currently serving as the Chief Mechanical & Piping Engineer and Engineering Manager for G Mining Services, Hanyue is involved in the detailed engineering of Lundin Gold's Fruta Del Norte Expansion Phase 3. Previous roles include Lead Mechanical Engineer for various projects such as the Loma Larga Underground Gold Mine and the Laurentian Resources Aggregate Scoping Study. With a solid background at Hatch, Hanyue has held positions in project cost engineering, planning, and scheduling, contributing to major projects such as the Jansen potash resource and Roquette's pea protein plant. Hanyue's career also includes significant experience in detailed engineering and project management for magnesium and aluminum smelting operations. Hanyue holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Management from McGill University.
