Daan Michiels

Daan Michiels is a highly experienced quantitative research professional, currently serving as a Quantitative Research Manager at G-Research since July 2018, where previous roles included Senior Quantitative Researcher and Quantitative Researcher. Daan's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics from KU Leuven. Daan has held various teaching and research roles at the University of Illinois, including multiple teaching assistant positions in Calculus and Differential Equations, as well as team leadership at the Illinois Geometry Lab. Daan's honors include a prestigious PhD fellowship from the Belgian American Educational Foundation. Additionally, Daan has previous teaching experience at KU Leuven.
