Daniel Plasto

Principal Software Engineer at G-Research

Daniel Plasto started their work experience as a Tutor and Research Assistant at Bond University from 2002 to 2003. Daniel then worked as an Intern at Siemens in 2004, where they focused on formal analysis and specification of security protocols. Following that, they joined Eracom Technologies as a Software Engineer from 2005 to 2005, working on development projects for EFT and Crypto products. In 2006, they worked at Nokia as a Software Engineer, specializing in systems development on Nokia's FreeBSD based networking OS. In 2007, Daniel joined CameronTec Group as a Senior Software Engineer, primarily working on Java development for FIX Engines. Daniel then became the Head of Development - EMEA in 2012, responsible for FIX Engine development and monitoring tool development. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Itiviti AB as the AVP Infrastructure & Connectivity Engineering, leading a technical team responsible for integrating trading infrastructure components. Currently, Daniel is a Principal Software Engineer at G-Research, a role they have held since 2017.

Daniel Plasto obtained their Master of Science (Computer Science) and Bachelor of Information Technology with First Class Honours from Bond University, where they studied from 2001 to 2004.
