Doug Shaw

Doug Shaw is an accomplished professional in quantitative research and theoretical physics, currently serving as a Partner and Deputy Head of Research at G-Research since May 2011. Shaw has held various leadership positions, including Quant Group Head and Quantitative Research Manager, and has extensive experience as a Quantitative Analyst. Prior to joining G-Research, Shaw held post-doctoral research associate positions at the University of Cambridge and Queen Mary, University of London, focusing on theoretical physics and cosmology, where mathematical models were developed to address cosmological challenges. Shaw's educational background includes a PhD in Theoretical Physics (Cosmology), as well as degrees in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
