Richard Thorne

Richard Thorne has a diverse work experience in software engineering and cryptography. Richard worked as a Principal Software Engineer at G-Research, where they focused on real-time trading system engineering. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at Amazon and Skype, contributing to various software development projects. Richard also worked as a Developer at Noisy Duck, where they were responsible for building and scaling server-side software and infrastructure. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Web Applications UK Ltd, where they worked on travel software packages. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Cryptanalyst at GCHQ and as an Administrator at StarSphere, where they developed and operated an online game.

Richard Thorne received their Diploma (Hons.) in Software Engineering from The University of Manchester, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. In addition, they hold certifications as a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist in .NET 2.0 and ASP.NET 3.5.
