Matthew Hayes

Matthew Hayes is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Analyst at G2 Investment Partners since February 2024, where the focus is on buy-side equity research in the tech and industrial sectors, particularly small-to-mid cap companies. Previously, Matthew held positions at D.A. Davidson Companies as a Senior Research Associate and Equity Research Associate from September 2022 to January 2024, concentrating on sell-side equity research for major retailers and smaller brands. Prior to that, Matthew worked as an Analyst in ECM at D.A. Davidson Investment Banking from July 2021 to September 2022. Matthew’s academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Milligan University, complemented by experience as a Division 1 Men's Basketball athlete and Team Manager.
