Sunil Thapar possesses extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Vessel Operations EU-ECSA at G2 Ocean since September 2021. Previously, Sunil held the position of Director of Vessel Operations at Guardian Navigation from February 2014 to March 2021, overseeing mining contract operations and ensuring the smooth transportation of limestone from Jamaica and Newfoundland to Mobile, Alabama. Sunil also worked at TBS Shipping Services as Manager Operations/Port Captain from March 2007 to February 2014, managing post-fixture operations and collaborating on cargo documentation. Earlier roles included serving as Port Captain and Marine Surveyor and commanding various vessels at Anglo Eastern from 1996 to 2005. Sunil's academic background includes a Master of Science in International Transportation Management from the State University of New York Maritime College and a Master Mariner degree from LBS College of Advanced Maritime Studies and Research.
