Stuart Bernstein

Stuart Bernstein is an advisor at G2 Venture Partners. Stuart is also the founder and managing member of Sustainable Capital LLC, an impact investment firm. Their areas of interest include companies and funds applying emerging technologies to traditional industries in a sustainable way, real estate funds investing in workforce and affordable housing with an environmental and social impact, companies that invest in and finance sustainable infrastructure projects and companies and funds that design and develop sustainable real estate. Stuart has also served as a senior advisor for NextGen Acquisition Corp. and STORY3 Capital Partners. In addition, they are a strategic advisor for G2VP and an advisory board member for Kimpact Evergreen Real Estate Investment Fund LP and Berkeley Lab. Stuart began their career as an associate at E.S. Jacobs & Co.

Stuart Bernstein graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Finance in 1985. Stuart then attended Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School, where they earned their MBA and MPA in Finance and Management and Public Policy, respectively. In 1991, they became a Private Pilot, Instrument rated through the Federal Aviation Administration. Stuart is also an Open Water Diver through PADI and an Offshore Personal Survival through World Sailing.
