Zhi Yong

Zhi Yong currently serves on the investment team at G2 Venture Partners, focusing on climate growth equity since January 2025. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company from January 2022 to January 2025, where Zhi contributed to private equity growth, demonstrating leadership in various initiatives and achieving top percentile ratings. Zhi was uniquely the only sophomore intern at Bain and received a return offer post-internship. At Bridgewater Associates, Zhi held the position of Investment Associate Intern during 2023, standing out as the only Berkeley undergraduate in the global intern class, and received a return offer. Zhi's earlier experience includes a PM & SWE Intern role at TikTok within the global B2B team, again receiving a return offer. Zhi holds a Master's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
