Derek Blok

Derek Blok is an experienced information security and systems engineer currently working at G2IT, LLC. since May 2023. Previously, Derek held positions as a Cyber Security Specialist and Systems Administrator at InterImage, supporting Army CID, NCIS, DCSA, and FBI partnerships. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior System Administrator at OM GROUP INC., System Administrator at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, and various positions within the US Army and US Signal. Derek’s early career involved providing enterprise cyber help desk support for the Defense Logistics Agency and working as a Data Collection Specialist at SAS Retail Services. Derek has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security and Intelligence from Ferris State University and an extensive background in both technical and managerial roles, including the position of Executive Director at Keiffers Rescue Center.
