James Palavos, CSM

James Palavos, CSM has work experience as a Senior BI Analyst & Manager at g2o from December 2013 to present. In this role, they are responsible for managing junior level resources, including performance reviews, career planning, and mentorship. James has also served as a Senior Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Project Manager, and Developer for various clients, including a Loyalty and Marketing services company, an International Automobile Manufacturer, and a Global Building Materials company. In these roles, James has managed Business Objects reporting for NA for two major clients, including requirement gathering, data analysis, report development, semantic layer development, report deployment, security, and assisting in the administration of the Business Objects enterprise system. James has also provided SAP BO Reporting from unique sources of data for both clients.

Prior to g2o, James worked as a Programmer 1 at National Interstate Insurance Company from September 2010 to December 2013.

James Palavos, CSM, obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus in Management Information Systems from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. James completed their undergraduate education from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, James has also obtained certifications in Tableau Desktop Specialist from Tableau in August 2020 and as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in June 2015.
