John Strawser Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. John currently serves as a Lead Software Engineer at g2o since July 2021, where they previously worked as a Senior UX Developer from November 2018 to July 2021. Prior to g2o, John worked as a Developer at Wondersauce from November 2014 to December 2018. John also gained experience as a Software Specialist at CareWorks Tech in 2014. Before that, John held the position of Senior Developer at Resource from January 2013 to April 2014, and as a Developer from November 2011 to April 2014. John started their career as a Flash Developer at R/GA from March 2008 to November 2011. Earlier experiences include serving as a Front-End Developer at AlphaCard Systems in 2007 and freelancing for SoundSlides in the same year. John also worked as an eCommerce Intern at Liebert in 2006 and as a Web Designer at St. Martin, On-Line Services in 2005.
John Strawser Jr. pursued their education at Ohio University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Their field of study was Visual Communication, specializing in Interactive Multimedia. In addition to their degree, John has also obtained several certifications. These include "Learning C#" from LinkedIn, which they acquired in April 2022, "CSS Essential Training" and "HTML Essential Training" from LinkedIn, both obtained in February 2022, as well as "Advanced Express" and "Building a Website with Node.js and Express.js," both acquired from LinkedIn in March 2020.
