Ruth Thurgood

Ruth Thurgood has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ruth is currently working as a UX and Design Lead at g2o since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Cardinal Health as a Creative Services Manager from July 2021 to November 2022 and as a Creative Services Supervisor from October 2019 to July 2021. Before joining Cardinal Health, Ruth held the position of Senior Interactive Designer at American Electric Power from January 2015 to October 2019. Ruth began their career as a Graphic Designer at Mills James Productions from December 2011 to January 2015. Ruth also worked as a Freelance copywriter and art director at Fechtor Advertising from September 2010 to October 2011. Furthermore, they have experience in freelance graphic design, web design, and marketing through their work at Christine Dobler Designs from June 2010 to November 2010. Ruth had internships at Ares Sportswear from November 2009 to June 2010 and at 614 Media Group from May 2009 to August 2009.

Ruth Thurgood obtained a Master's degree in Design Management and Communication from Georgetown University in the years 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Columbus College of Art & Design from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Advertising and Graphic Design. In addition, Ruth obtained a UX Certificate from the Nielsen Norman Group in April 2017.
