Jimmy D'Arcy has extensive experience in the GAA, serving since August 2001 in various roles that focus on youth leadership, sustainability, and games development. As the Youth Leadership & Sustainability Manager, Jimmy oversees initiatives that integrate best practices in education and climate resilience. Previously, the Technical Development & Support Manager, responsibilities included managing player and coach pathways. In the National Games Development Manager role, crucial contributions were made towards implementing performance management processes and developing a National Games Development Plan. Earlier in the career, as Coaching & Referee Coordinator, significant advancements were achieved in coaching education and resources. Prior to the GAA, Jimmy worked as a Sports Website Producer and Journalist at RTE. Academically, Jimmy holds a MSc in Education & Training Management from Dublin City University, a Grad Diploma in Arts Participation and Development from Munster Technological University, and a BS in Sport & Exercise Science from the University of Limerick.
