Mike Valenty

Mike Valenty, CPA, currently serves as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller at Gabes, a role held since June 2014. Previously, Mike was the Director of Financial Reporting at rue21 from January 2011 to June 2014, where responsibilities included SEC reporting and financial planning for a rapidly growing retail chain. Prior experience includes serving as Corporate Controller for Roomful Express Furniture and in various senior roles at American Eagle Outfitters Inc., overseeing supply chain financial matters and SEC external reporting. Mike's career began at Hagan Consulting Group, where work encompassed tax preparation, auditing, and consulting across several industries. Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from PennWest Clarion.
