Olivier Staquet

Olivier Staquet is the current CTO at Gabi SmartCare. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director at INFORMEX SA from July 2005 to November 2020. At INFORMEX, they led a team of 17 individuals and was responsible for all operations on the Belgium and Luxembourg markets, including strategy, engineering, product development, finance, and operations management. Olivier was also the Chairman of the Board of the subsidiary in Belgium and Board member of different subsidiaries in Solera Holdings (Sidexa in France, Audatex España in Spain and Informex Hellas in Greece).

During their time at INFORMEX, Olivier achieved several key accomplishments, such as growing the company by 5% per year for 5 years, rebuilding relationships with customers, diversifying lines of business, designing and deploying the next generation of Claims Management SaaS platforms (Claims360, Virtual Drive-in and Claims.lu), migrating the core backend from mainframe COBOL to Java micro-services and to Google Cloud Platform, implementing agile methodology with continuous delivery and continuous integration, implementing GDPR compliance, and industrializing operations by deploying ERP modules (CRM, subscriptions, sales, invoicing, helpdesk & purchase) to streamline process efficiency. Olivier is also skilled in people management and was able to attract and retain the best talents in a very competitive environment.

Olivier Staquet has a Master’s Degree in Executive Master Class in Creating Value with Big Data from the Vlerick Business School, a Master's degree in Executive Master in Management (EMM - CEPAC) from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Université libre de Bruxelles. Olivier also has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences from the École Supérieure d'Informatique (ESI). In addition, they are certified by the BSI in Medical Device Software (EN 62304), by Google in Industrial IoT on Google Cloud, by Solvay Brussels School in Executive Program in Digital Transformation, by Google in Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure, and by Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München in Advanced Competitive Strategy (Statement of Accomplishment with Distinction). Finally, they have a certification from Vanderbilt University in Leading Strategic Innovation in Organizations (Statement of Accomplishment).
