Vasudevan Raghavachari

Vasudevan Raghavachari has a extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Vasudevan has served as the Chief Operating Officer - PC & CV Business Unit at Gabriel India Limited since February 2021 and previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer - PCBU from September 2020 to January 2021.

Prior to their time at Gabriel India Limited, Raghavachari worked at MAHLE from September 2017 to August 2020 as the Vice President & Head of Operations. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing operations and managing four manufacturing sites for HVAC, Engine Cooling, Inter coolers, and EGR, with a sales turnover of over ₹8500 Mil. Vasudevan also played a key role in meeting operational KPIs and strategic topics such as footprint and capacity planning.

Before joining MAHLE, Vasudevan Raghavachari held various positions at Gabriel India Limited from April 2012 to August 2017, including Vice President - Operations & Plant Head, General Manager & Plant Head, and DGM-Central Quality. During this time, they focused on improving quality, implementing a FMEA approach, and creating an internal rating system.

Vasudevan'searlier experiences include working as Dy. General Manager - VD & SQA at Mando Corp. from June 2005 to March 2012, Deputy Manager at Rane TRW Steering Systems Limited from 2002 to 2005, and Engineer at Delphi-TVS from December 1995 to September 2002. In these roles, they gained expertise in quality management, customer complaints handling, new product development, and implementing quality systems.

Vasudevan Raghavachari completed the Oxford Advance Leadership and Management Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2016. Vasudevan obtained a PGDBA degree in Finance Management from IFMR Graduate School of Business - Krea University between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, they hold an MS degree in Manufacturing Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, although the specific dates of their enrollment are unknown.

In terms of certifications, Vasudevan Raghavachari received the "Visionary Leader for Manufacturing" certification from JICA & CII in June 2014.
