Matthew then transitioned into a sales role as an Account Executive at WB Mason, where they developed strong client relationships and expanded vertical markets. As an Independent Contractor, they became a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, helping clients buy, sell, and rent properties in NYC. Matthew joined Compass as a Neighborhood Specialist, where they played a key role in building the company's technology and successfully closed their first-ever sales transaction. At Zillow, they held various roles including Senior Product Specialist, Customer Experience Manager, and finally, Director of Product at Gabriels Technology Solutions, where they drove product development and managed a team of product managers. Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a focus on user satisfaction.

Matthew Baren completed their Bachelor's Degree in Sports Administration from the University of Miami in 2010. Matthew then attended the New York Real Estate Institute from 2012 to 2013. Prior to their higher education, Matthew attended Commack High School from 2003 to 2007.
