Razi also held the position of Civil Project Engineer at Abdul Rahman Al Otaishan, coordinating inputs across various engineering disciplines, and started as a Site Engineer at Srinath Builders and Housing Co. Pvt Ltd, where project scheduling and compliance monitoring were key duties. Razi holds a Master of Technology in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering, both from Aligarh Muslim University.
