Andrew Mackenzie

Andrew is a Director in the Property team in Brisbane. With dual degrees in law and journalism Andrew is a passionate practitioner across the full ambit of property law, including commercial and retail leasing, commercial sales and acquisitions, flat land and high-rise development, off-the-plan sales, and receiver and manager sales.

Andrew has leading experience in commercial property, acting for some of Australia’s largest institutional landlords in their Queensland assets, including some of Brisbane’s largest commercial office leasing deals, as well as acting for local developers in bespoke, multi-party fund through and finance deals.

Through various capital transaction work, Andrew has provided clients with detailed due diligence reviews, including lease reviews, advice on rights of statutory authorities, and advice on complex title structuring arrangements, such as mixed use and Building Management Statement structures.
