Tommye Thomas

Dr. Tommye Thomas is the Associate Dean and Professior of Education at Brenau University. She attended University of Tennessee for her Bachelors Degree adn The University of South Carolina for her Masters and Doctorate Degrees.

Dr. Thomas believes that teaching is the foundation of all other professions. Teachers should be innovative and passionate about teaching and seek to inspire learners to reach their goals.

She has many academic affiliations and has held many leadership positions including, Kappa Delta Pi – Member and Counselor, Georgia Assessment Directors Association – Member and past Treasurer, Georgia Educational Technology Consortium – Board Member, Phi Kappa Phi – Member, Georgia Association of Teacher Educators, AACTE Innovations and Technology.
