Lewis Abra

Lewis Abra has a robust background in electrical design and research within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Manager of Electrical Design at GAF Energy since July 2019, Lewis previously held roles at SunPower Corporation as a Senior Research and Development Engineer and Senior Staff Engineer in Module R&D from December 2009 to July 2019. Responsibilities included developing, designing, and qualifying materials for commercial solar modules. Prior to that, Lewis gained experience as a Research Assistant at San Francisco State University, focusing on thin film and superconducting tunnel junction detectors, and at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Polymer Electronics Lab. Additionally, Lewis contributed to KCPR, San Luis Obispo, as Music Director and DJ. Lewis holds a BS in Physics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and furthered education at San Francisco State University.
