Xinrui Lu Ph.d., Ap

Xinrui Lu, Ph.D., LEED AP has a diverse work experience in the field of building science and research. Most recently, they have been working as a Building Scientist (R&D Engineer) at GAF Energy since November 2021. Prior to that, Xinrui worked as a Building Envelope Engineer at Walker Consultants from March 2020 to November 2021. They also have experience as a Building Science Engineer at RDH Building Science from September 2019 to March 2020. Xinrui started their career as a Research Assistant at Penn State University in August 2016, where they worked until August 2019.

Xinrui Lu, Ph.D., LEED AP, has a strong educational background in Civil Engineering. Xinrui obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering from Penn State University between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Structural Engineering, at the University of California, Davis, from 2014 to 2016. Xinrui Lu's Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering was earned from Chongqing University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Xinrui Lu holds several relevant certifications. Xinrui obtained the TensorFlow Developer Professional Certificate from DeepLearning.AI in October 2021 and the IBM Machine Learning certification from IBM in February 2021. Previously, they obtained the LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) certification in Building Design + Construction from USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) in May 2018.
